Proximal to the web margin between the second and third toes, in the depression distal and lateral to the second metatarsal joint.
At the proximal end of the web between the second and third toes.
On the dorsum of the foot, between the second and third toes, 0.5 cun proximal to the margin of the web.

NEEDLING

Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Slanted insertion toward the ankle, 0.3 to 0.8 cun, causing local distention and soreness.
Perpendicular insertion 0.5 cun,
Oblique insertion directed proximally, 0.5 to 1 cun.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

NOTES

This is a very important point on the Stomach channel, for clearing Heat. It is mostly used for Excess patterns. This is probably the best point on the Stomach channel for abdominal disorders, especially when accompanied by pain and fear. This is also a special point for Food Retention in the Stomach. This point is good for true Heat with false Cold (warm body with cold limbs).
