7 cun superior to the vertex of the medial malleolus, on the medial side of the tibia
7 cun above the medial malleolus on the posterior margin of the tibia, 2 cun directly above LIV-5 Ligou.
7 cun above the tip of the medial malleolus on the midline of the medial surface of the tibia
7 cun above the prominence of the medial malleolus, immediately posterior to the medial border of the tibia, in the depression between the medial border of the tibia and the gastrocnemius muscle
Note: This point is 0.5 cun distal to the midpoint of the halfway point between the popliteal crease and the tip of the medial malleolus

NEEDLING

Slanted insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun
Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun
Oblique insertion directed proximally towards the abdomen, 1 to 2 cun
