On the medial side of the foot, in the depression distal and inferior to the base of the first metatarsal bone.
Note: first locate SP-3 Taibai, then slide proximally along the shaft of the first metatarsal bone until it reaches the depression at the base of the bone (approximately 1 cun).
In the depression distal and inferior to the base of the first metatarsal bone, at the junction of the red and white skin.
On the medial aspect of the foot, at the anterior, inferior margin of the first metatarsus, one cun behind the joint of the big toe.
Approximately 1 cun posterior to SP-3 Taibai, in the depression distal and inferior to the base of the first metatarsal bone, at the junction of the red and white skin.
NEEDLING
Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 0.8 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
NOTES
This point has a pronounced effect on emotional disorders. This is a major point for abdominal pain above the navel. This point is usually coupled with PC-6 Neiguan for abdominal pain and especially for Liver Qi Stagnation Attacking the Spleen. This point is good for someone who feels they have no future. It is most frequently used for Excess conditions, such as Dampness in the epigastrium, Blood stasis of the Stomach, Stomach Heat and Rebellious Stomach Qi. It is best for Intestinal pain above the navel.
