LOCATION
On the radial side of the midpoint of the first metacarpal bone, on the junction of the red and white skin.
On the thenar eminence of the hand, in a depression between the midpoint of the shaft of the first metacarpal bone and the thenar muscles.
Note: locate and needle close to the metacarpal bone.
With the palm facing up, this point can be found at the midpoint of the thenar surface of the first metacarpus, at the border separating the light colored skin of the palm from the darker colored skin of the back of the hand.
NEEDLING
Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 0.8 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Straight insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun, causing local distention and soreness.

NOTES
This is the main point to clear Lung Full Heat. If the skin is cold, silvery and flaky, tonify. If the skin is hot, ugly and red, reduce. This point is used if the patient is very rigid in his outlook and needs warmth.
