3.5 cun directly above the midpoint of the anterior hairline and 1.5 cun anterior to DU-20 Baihui.
At the top of the head on the midline, 1.5 cun directly anterior to DU-20 Baihui and 3.5 cun posterior to the anterior hairline.

NEEDLING

Puncture subcutaneously 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Slanted insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
Transverse insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Caution: this point should not be needled in infants whose fontanelle has not closed.
