LOCATION

At the medial end of the popliteal crease, between the semitendinosus and semimembranosis tendons. Locate and needle with the knee slightly bent.
On the medial aspect of the back of the knee, between the semitendinosus muscle and the lower end of the semimembranosis muscle.
With the knee flexed, this point is located on the medial side of the popliteal fossa, level with UB-40 Weizhong, between the tendons of the semitendinosus and and semimembranosis muscles.

NEEDLING

Perpendicular insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.
Straight insertion, 1 to 2 cun.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.8 to 1cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
