LOCATION

Lateral to UB-40 Weizhong, on the medial border of the tendon of the biceps femoris muscle.
With the patient lying prone, this point can be found on the back of the knee, 1 cun lateral to UB-40 Weizhong.
At the back of the knee, on the popliteal crease and towards its lateral end, in the depression medial to the tendon of the biceps femoris.
Note: locate this point with the knee slightly flexed.

NEEDLING

Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun, causing distention and soreness extending to the thigh.
