0.5 cun directly posterior to UB-4 Quchai, 1 cun within the anterior hairline and 1.5 cun lateral to DU-23 Shangxing.

NEEDLING

Puncture subcutaneously 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Slanted insertion 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Transverse insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
