NEEDLING
Transverse insertion posteriorly 0.2 to 0.3 cun, or extend to connect with M-HN-9 Taiyang.
Transverse insertion toward M-HN-9 Taiyang 0.5 to 1 cun. Sensation: local distention, sometimes extending to the ear canal.
Puncture subcutaneously 0.3 to 0.5 cun.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
According to several modern texts, this point is contraindicated to moxibustion.
NOTES
This point is especially used to treat Liver Wind-Heat (Liver Fire plus Wind Heat). It is a widely used local point for eye problems. This is a powerful point for overall Qi of the Gall Bladder channel.
