LOCATION

On the lateral side of the foot, in the depression posterior to the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone.
Note: the tuberosity of the fifth metatarsal bone is the most palpable landmark on the lateral side of the foot.
Anterior and inferior to UB-62 Shenmai, on the lateral aspect of the cuboid bone.
On the lateral side of the foot, directly below the anterior border of the external malleolus, on the border of the cuboid bone.

NEEDLING

Perpendicular insertion 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
