Five cun above the lateral malleolus of the ankle, at the anterior margin of the fibula.
5 cun directly above the tip of the external malleolus on the anterior border of the fibula.

NEEDLING

Straight insertion 1 to 1.5 cun. Sensation: soreness extending upward to the knee and downward to the top of the foot.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.7 to 1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
