LOCATION

On the antero-lateral aspect of the chest, below the lateral extremity of the clavicle, 6 cun lateral to the midline, in the center of the hollow of the delto-pectoral triangle.
At the inferior margin of the clavicle, between the pectoralis major and deltoid muscles.
In the superior lateral part of the anterior thoracic wall, superior to the coracoid process of the scapula, in the depression of the infraclavicular fossa, 6 cun lateral to the anterior midline.

NEEDLING

Transverse-oblique insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
Caution: deep perpendicular or oblique insertion carries a substantial risk of causing a pneumothorax.
Slanted insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Puncture obliquely 0.5 to 0.8 cun towards the lateral aspect of the chest. To avoid puncturing the Lung, never needle deeply towards the medial aspect.
Moxibustion is applicable.

Oppressive and agitated sensation of the chest
Heat in the chest
Oppression and pain of the chest
Upsurging of Qi to the Heart and abdomen
Interrupted pulse which cannot be felt at the cun position
Throat Bi
Goiter
Injury by Cold giving rise to persistent Heat in the limbs
Eye problems
Intermittent choking or oppression
Nervousness

This is a main point for draining Heat from the extremities. This point should be used when people say they feels like they are under a cloud, when they want to renew contact with the spiritual light within.
