LOCATION
At the wrist, in the depression between the radial artery and the tendon of the abductor policis longus, level with HT-7 Shenmen.
At the transverse crease of the wrist, in the depression on the radial side of the radial artery.
With the palm facing up, this point can be found in a slight depression at the radial end of the transverse crease of the wrist.
NEEDLING
Perpendicular insertion, 0.3 to 0.5 cun, avoiding the radial artery.
Straight insertion, 0.3 to 0.5 cun. causing local distention and pain.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.2 to 0.3 cun. Avoid puncturing the radial artery.
Moxibustion is applicable.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
NOTES
This is the single most important point on the Lung channel to tonify Lung Qi and Yin. This point is used for long-term problems. This point is used for all disorders of Qi. This is a first aid point for asphyxia, collapse, poisoning and concussion. This point is good when the pulses are chaotic or not rhythmical or regular. It has a tremendous effect on the Blood.
