5.5 cun directly above the midpoint of the posterior hairline, 1.5 cun directly above DU-18 Qiangjian.
1.5 cun behind DU-20 Baihui, near the vertex.

NEEDLING

Transverse insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Puncture subcutaneously 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Slanted insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
