2 cun directly below UB-40 Weizhong, between the medial and lateral heads of the gastrocnemius muscle, on the line joining UB-40 Weizhong and UB-57 Chengshan.
Note: first locate UB-57 Chengshan, then locate UB-55 Heyang at one fourth the distance between UB-40 Weizhong and UB-57 Chengshan.

NEEDLING

Puncture perpendicularly 0.7 to 1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Perpendicular Insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.
Straight insertion 1 to 2 cun.
