3 cun directly above UB-60 Kunlun, at the lateral aspect of the gastrocnemius muscle.
Note: this point is located in the depression between the Achilles tendon and the peroneal tendons.

NEEDLING

Straight insertion 1 to 2 cun.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Perpendicular or oblique insertion directed proximally or distally, 1 to 1.5 cun.

NOTES
