When the palm faces upward, the point is on the radial side of the tendon of the m. flexor carpi ulnaris, 0.5 cun above the transverse of the wrist.
Located 0.5 cun proximal to HT-7 Shenmen, on the line connecting HT-7 Shenmen to HT-4 Lingdao.
NEEDLING
Puncture perpendicularly 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Straight insertion, 0.5 to 1 cun.
Perpendicular insertion, 0.3 to 0.5 cun, or oblique proximal or distal insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
