LOCATION

2 cun below ST-30 Qichong on the medial aspect
of the thigh.
cun directly below ST-30 Qichong, at the
proximal end of the thigh, below the pubic tubercle and on the
border of m. adductor longus.
2 cun inferior to ST-30 Qichong on the anterior
border of m. adductor longus.
Note: the tendon of origin of adductor longus arises from the pubic
bone and is the most prominent tendon in the groin.

NEEDLING

Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Perpendicular or oblique insertion 0.5 to 1.5 cun.
