LOCATION

In the nasolabial groove, at the level of the midpoint of the lateral border of the ala nasi.
0.5 cun lateral to the nostril, in the nasolabial sulcus.

NEEDLING

Puncture obliquely or subcutaneously 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Transverse insertion medio-superiorly 0.3 to 0.5 cun or join BitongM-HN-14 at the highest point of the nasolabial groove.
For roundworms in the bile duct: transverse insertion joined to ST-2 Sibai, 0.5 to 1 cun.
For diseases of the nose: join to M-HN-14 Bitong, 0.5 to 0.8 cun. Sensation: local distention and soreness, sometimes extending throughout the nose and lachrymation.
