NEEDLING

Slanted insertion, 0.5-0.8 cun.
Caution: Avoid deep insertion.
Perpendicular insertion carries a substantial risk of pneumothorax.
Transverse-oblique insertion along the intercostal space, 0.5-1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
