Actions
Promote the flow of qi, activate blood, clear heat and remove toxicity, cool blood to stop bleeding, clear lung-heat and relieve cough.
Indications
Dysentery, sores and boils, snake and insect bites, acute mastitis, hematemesis, tinea, cough caused by lung-heat, scalds, frostbite, laryngalgia, stomachache, abdominal mass, haemorrhoid bleeding, hemoptysis caused by tuberculosis.
Dosage and Administrations
Decoct 10~30 g. Proper dosage is for external application, pounded for applying.
Cautions
It is contraindicated in case of deficiency cold.
