LOCATION

On the palmar surface, in the midpoint of the transverse creases
of the proximal interphalangeal joints of the index, middle ring
and little fingers.
On the palmar surface, in the transverse creases
of the proximal interphalangeal joints of the four fingers (excluding
the thumb).
Note: In most people, two creases will be found at the proximal
interphalangeal joints. Sifeng M-UE-9
is located on the crease which is most prominent on flexion.

NEEDLING

Prick to bleed or squeeze out a small amount of yellowish viscous
fluid.
Needle and then squeeze out a small amount of yellowish viscous
fluid (effective even if no fluid comes out).
