Ingredients

Xi Jiao or Shui Niu Jiao 1800 g,Shi Chang Pu 180 g,Huang Qin 180 g,Sheng Di 500 g,Yin Hua 500 g,Jin Zhi 300 g,Lian Qiao 300 g,Ban Lan Gen 270 g,Dou Chi 240 g,Yuan Shen 210 g,Tian Hua Fen 120 g,Zi Cao 120 g.

Explanation

Xi Jiao and Sheng Di: Clearing heart-fire and cooling blood.

Xuan Shen and Tian Hua Fen: Tonifying yin and promote the secretion of saliva or body fluid.

Yin Hua, Lian Qiao and Huang Qin: Clearing heat and purging fire.

Zi Cao, Ban Lan Gen and Jin Zhi: Cooling blood and removing toxicity.

Shi Chang Pu: Inducing resuscitation.

Dou Chi: Dispersing external pathogens.

Effect

Clear heat and induce resuscitation, cool blood and remove toxicity.

Indications

High fever, delirium and coma, oral and throat erosion, dark reddish purple tongue, dysphoria, hot eyes, purple measles.

Administrations

All the drugs are ground into fine powder. The powder is made with Jin Zhi, Shui Niu Jiao and Di Huang into pills. 3 g of the pills is taken with cold water each time, twice daily. Take the half dose for children.
