At the root of the neck, superior to the medial end of the clavicle, directly below, ST-9 Renying, in the depression between the sternal and clavicular heads of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
At the superior border of the sternal extremity of the clavicle, between the sternal and clavicular heads of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.

NEEDLING

Perpendicular insertion 0.3 to 0.5 cun.
Caution: deep insertion may puncture the Lung.
Moxibustion is applicable.
