Actions

Regulate the flow of qi, dispel melancholy, activate blood and dissipate blood stasis.

Indications

Sores and boils, dysentery, acute mastitis, stomachache due to emotional depression and the hyperactive liver-qi attacking the stomach, irregular menstruation, leucorrhea with reddish discharge, hemoptysis, hematemesis, wandering arthritis.

Dosage and Administrations

Decoct 3~10 g, or made into paste or soaked in wine.

Cations

It is contraindicated in case of yin deficiency with effulgent fire.
