LOCATION

With the arm raised, this point can be found in the center of the armpit, medial to the axillary artery.
In the depression at the center of the axilla.
Note: with the arm raised, the point is in the depression at the highest point of the axillary hollow.

NEEDLING

Straight insertion, 1 to 1.5 cun. Sensation: local distention and soreness, or an electric, numb sensation extending toward the forearm.
Perpendicular insertion in the direction of GB-21 Jianjing 0.5 to 1 cun, avoiding the axillary artery.
Moxibustion is applicable.
