LOCATION

One third of the distance between the medial end of the clavicle to the lateral end, up 1 cun, at the posterior margin of the sternocleidomastoid muscle.

NEEDLING

Straight insertion, 0.5-0.8 cun. Sensation: numb, electric sensation extending down the length of the arm.
Caution: Avoid pointing the needle downward, which may puncture the top of the Lung.
