On the medial side of the thigh, 6 cun superior to
SP-10 Xuehai, on the line connecting SP-10 Xuehai and
SP-12 Chongmen.
Note: Locate two hand breadths superior to SP-10 Xuehai.
Note: locate midway between the tibiofemoral joint line
and SP-12 Chongmen.
6 cun above SP-10 Xuehai, on the medial aspect
of the sartorius muscle.

NEEDLING

Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1 cun.
Caution: Deep needling may puncture the femoral artery.
Moxibustion
is applicable.
Straight insertion 1 to 2 cun.
