NEEDLING

Perpendicular insertion 0.5 to 1.2 cun.
Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Straight insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Contraindicated during pregnancy. According to some classical sources, needling this point is forbidden.

NOTES

This point is located directly opposite to DU-20 Baihui. Some sources consider this point to be the Luo-Connecting point of the REN channel. One source says that this is the master point of the whole body. This is one of the most powerful points on the REN-channel.
