4 Cun below the center of the umbilicus, 0.7 cun superior to SP-12 Chongmen, 4 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
0.7 cun above SP-12 Chongmen, 3.5 cun lateral to the median line of the abdomen.
On the lower abdomen, 0.7 cun superior and 0.5 cun lateral to SP-12, Chongmen, 4 cun lateral to the midline. This point is also defined as lying 4.3 cun inferior to SP-15 Daheng.
Note: the 4 cun line is located at the palpable lateral border of the rectus abdominus muscle.

NEEDLING

Puncture perpendicularly 0.5 to 1 cun.
Moxibustion is applicable.
Straight insertion 1 to 1.5 cun.
Caution: in thin patients, deep needling may penetrate the peritoneal cavity.
