Explanation

San Qi, Xue Jie, Chi Shao and Mu Dan Pi: Activating blood and dissipating stasis, dredging meridians, resolving swelling to alleviate pain, astringing wound to stop bleeding.

Tao Ren, Hong Hua, Su Mu and Dang Gui: Breaking blood and eliminating stasis, dredging meridians to alleviate pain.

Ru Xiang and Mo Yao: Resolving swelling and alleviating pain.

Liu Ji Nu: Breaking blood and dredging meridians and stopping bleeding.

Tian Gua Zi: Dissipating nodulation and eliminating stasis.

Xu Duan, Gu Sui Bu, Tu Bie Chong and Zi Ran Tong: Strengthening tendons andbones.

San Leng and Jiang Huang: Breaking blood and promoting the flow of qi.

Gan Cao: Tempering the actions of all the other ingredients and alleviating pain.

Indications

Traumatic injury, swelling and pain of blood stasis, fracture, sudden sprain in the lumbar region, breaking of muscle and tendon, pain in the chest when breathing.
